Greetings old friends! It is so amazing to look at these pages and see faces from the distant past. I live in Ireland and won't be attending the reunion, but this page has me smiling -- sometimes inappropriately -- at memories of those days, which were fun and difficult and terrifying and so very important. I've spent the last couple decades writing -- first as a journalist mostly in DC and London, and then books. It's been a crazy journey that has taken me to a lot of cities, and a lot of countries, and encounters with a lot of people. But mostly I seem to find myself sitting in chairs reading books, or in front of computers typing words. Have fun at the reunion and thanks for reawakening so many memories. (Just last week I mentioned Mary Herdegen to my Mother, so you're not very far away afterall!!!)
