Hey Friends!
I live about 30 miles west of Vail, in Eagle Colorado. It's a great little town known for hiking and mountain biking and a family friendly lifestyle. I am currently not working ( aka retired) after about a 25 year career as an IT Project Manager for Carlson in Minnesota..among other stuff I did before that. I have 2 kids, both married and 2 grandkiddos. My daughter Kim, her husb and family live in Avon Colorado ( Beaver Creek) very near me. I help out by babysitting those kids often. My daughter is a director at a homeowners assoc and her husb owns a restaurant out here with a Mountain modern cuisine. I also have a great friendship circle in Eagle and nearabouts and still in Minnesota. My son Chris and his wife are moving to Tangletown in Mpls ( dream neighborhood- right!) very soon. My son has a Marketing business. He is a passionate outdoors guy who is often on his road bike exploring. My husband of 39 years passed away in 2015 after a devastating illness. He was an early adopter of the hippie lifestyle and actually attended Woodstock, so it's fun to see that 1969 logo on this page. He enjoyed biking and I remember biking the Minnehaha parkway with him to a past Annunciation reunion at Minnehaha Park. After losing him in 2015 I had to make some decisions and ended up moving out to Colorado in 2016. It was a great decision. There are endless things to do here and lots of friends. I love and miss many things about Minnesota though! I have a bazillion nieces and nephews and love spending time with them in the far flung places we all live, but also really stay connected via good old social media. Peace and love!
