After graduating from Regina I attended the U of M, majoring in Music. Near the end of my studies there I got a part time job working at a residential facility for people with developmental disabilities (for $2.75 per hour and can you believe I paid for my life on that salary!) That part time job completely changed my life's trajectory and I found work that became a great passion, is incredibly fun and gives back tenfold. I finished up my Music degree and went back to school to study Human Services. Currently the Executive Director of a non profit serving people with developmental disabilities, brain injury and mental illness.
I married and divorced but still great friends with my ex and we have a wonderful son and a beautiful 4 year old grand daughter...who is the center of my universe.
